    Nice!

I've got 4 inches of fresh clean white stuff on the ground, about 26 degrees. Gonna be in the 50's this weekend, perfect if you like cold mud.

I think it prudent to ask him first... He is putting together a Altec system now, but just doesn't have the time or is dealing with health issues...Last summer Greg needed to fix up his house a bit.. Now sending him a Home Depot gift card to help him with his home I think he would like...

    Greets!

Thanks for the thoughts guys, but despite significant help from a number of Altec and other forum?s members some years ago now; time, electronics repair/replacement is what I mainly need along with rebuilding the speaker's XOs or replacing them with digital units.

As John indicated though, for a variety of reasons the housing market collapse has forced me to do a whole property rehab or due to insurability issues will have to sell it for next to nothing as a condemned property. If I could afford it, I?d just plow it under and build a concrete slab foundation ?compound? [house with attached garage, shop, storage shed] on top of it like a new neighbor down the street did.

Old age, injuries and a few costly new ones are making it such slow going though that combined with all the recent storm damage and no insurance help, I?m ~continually repairing recent repairs, so going on five years now to repair only a portion of all the new extensions, rehab that I did in a ~ 8 mo. period after work and on weekends ~35 yrs ago.

Regardless, I could get the basic Altec system going again, but knowing me, I?d let the more important stuff ?slide?, so it?s the ?carrot on the end of the stick? that keeps me motivated to ?git-r-done?.
